The Advanced Materials Show 2022
Location: NEC Birmingham

Mi-Net will be exhibiting at The Advanced Materials Show on the 8th and 9th of July 2026 at the NEC in Birmingham.

The Advanced Materials Show is a free-to-attend CPD-accredited exhibition and conference showcasing innovation across the advanced materials sector. It brings together the full supply chain, from research and development through to manufacturing and application, featuring nanomaterials, composites, polymers, ceramics, coatings, and more.

The event runs over two days on 8–9 July 2026, offering insight into the latest trends and challenges shaping the future of the materials industry.

• Discover cutting-edge technologies and product innovations from leading materials companies and service providers.

• Attend expert-led sessions covering graphene, 2D materials, surface engineering, coatings, composites, polymers, and more.

• Connect with engineers, researchers, business leaders, and decision-makers driving innovation and commercial progress.

• Network with professionals and partners across the full materials supply chain.

We will be co-exhibiting with our partners at GrindoSonic who will be exhibiting their MK7 tool. This tool is a non-destructive testing (NDT) instrument and Impulse Excitation Testing System based on the Impulse Excitation Technique (IET) for measuring the resonance frequency of materials to determine key mechanical properties including Young’s modulus (elastic modulus), shear modulus, Poisson’s ratio, and damping capacity (internal friction).

We will also be presenting material from Nanovea so come and see us to talk about their range of Nano scratch and hardness tools, non-contact optical profilometers and tribometers.

Or if you prefer to outsource your testing then we will be showcasing our range of lab services.

Come and see us on stand 308!
