A Rotary Movement Device (RMD) is any mechanical or electromechanical system designed to produce or control rotational motion e.g., movement around a central axis.
The PLX RMD is available in two different packages, RMD type A(RMDA) and RMD type B(RMDB). The RMDA is available in a motorized version (RMDAM). PLX provides the RMD integrated into your choice of LTHP and LTHR. In this configuration, the exiting beam position can be constantly adjusted to any given distance from the entrance beam.
In applications where the major beam must be aligned with two or more other optical axes, a multiple configuration of LTHRs and LTHPs is required.
